A Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and Associate Member of Northwest Society of Interior Designers, Joan Mullen Woods holds a B.A. in Interior Design from McPherson College, McPherson, KS and a certificate in graphic design from Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland, OR. She volunteers with ReFIT, a non-profit organization providing home modification services for physically and financially challenged homeowners who wish to remain living independently in their homes.
